History

We discuss the nature of history in my 

house,

in terms of whether or not it is

affecting

the present enough to say that we don't

even

have control of the one thing we're living 

through.

We can affect only the present?

How much does that suck?

I guess I'd like to think that by some

infinitely

wise being's whim we have been

instilled

with the capability to affect the

present,

the future, and the past in such a way

that 

our legacy is present in its passed

significance.
